Meet Our Physicians
Nancy Lodge, MD
Dr. Lodge completed her BA degree at Virginia Wesleyan College in 1986. She attended Eastern Virginia Medical School and obtained her MD degree in 1990. From there, she completed an Internship and Residency in Pediatrics through Phoenix Children’s Hospital, Phoenix, Arizona in 1993. She practiced as a pediatrician for over twelve years at three different practices in Arizona. Then, in 2012, Dr. Lodge relocated to Missouri and began working at Mineral Area Regional Medical Center in Farmington, MO. Three years later in 2015, she began practicing at Madison Medical Center.
Patrick O'Hara, M.D.
Dr. O'Hara graduated in 1996 from St. Louis University School of Medicine in St. Louis, Missouri, and then completed an internship and residency at Baptist Medical Center in Kansas City, Missouri, in 1999. Dr. O'Hara is Board Certified in Family Practice. He practiced in Farmington and Perryville, Missouri, from 1999 to 2019, and then joined the MMC medical staff in March 2020. He has been serving Southeast Missouri for over 20 years.
Heather Cheaney, APRN, BC, FNP
Heather is originally from Fredericktown, MO. She obtained her RN & BS degree in 2000 from Southwest Baptist University in Southwest Missouri. She has over 15 years of RN experience at regional hospitals. In 2016, she completed a Master’s Degree in Nursing from Southeast Missouri State University, at which time she joined the Madison Medical Center team.
Melinda Fischer, RN, BC, FNP
Melinda attended nursing school at Lutheran Medical School of Nursing in St. Louis from 1989 to 1991 where she became a Registered Nurse. She was then employed at Sullivan Hospital as a staff nurse from 1991 to 1993. In 1996, she obtained her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Maryville University in St. Louis while working as the Nursing Supervisor at the Washington County Health Department's Home Health Agency. From 1996-1997, she worked at Sullivan Hospital as a nurse in-home care services. Then from 1997 to 2002, she worked with Apria Healthcare as an IV Infusion specialist and with Personal Touch, a private duty nursing company, all while working on obtaining her Master's in the Family Nurse Practitioner program at University of Missouri at St. Louis. She became board certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner and joined Madison Medical Center's staff in 2002.
Shannon Sikorski, APRN, BC - FNP
Shannon became a Registered Nurse through Mineral Area College in 2005. She began her career at St. Anthony's Medical Center in St. Louis. From 2006 to 2013, she was employed at Perry County Memorial Hospital in Perryville, Missouri. In 2013, she completed the Family Nurse Practitioner program through University of Missouri in St. Louis. That same year, she passed her Board Certification and began practicing at Madison Medical Center in August 2014.
